 Dear Parents,

I want to thank all our parents for their involvement in Parent/Teacher Conferences. We had over 94% of our families participate in a face-to-face conference with their child's teacher.  Thank you for taking time to find out how your children are doing in school and how you can support their education at Shaver!

 I would like to invite you to two important meetings this week.

 Tuesday March 16^th from 6:00-7:00 PM in Room 12

Dr. Karen Fischer Gray, our Superintendent, and Mary Larson, our Director of Business Services, will be addressing our Shaver community about the 2010-2011 District Budget. If you have any questions, please come and let your voice be heard. 

Wednesday March 17^th from 6:00 - 7:30 PM in the gym for parents and classrooms for kids!

"Go Green Month" Family Involvement Evening - Pizza and Salad will be served!

Students will do activities with staff in the classrooms. Parents will meet in the gym for a series of activities:

6:15-6:45 pm         Adult will watch a video called: "7 Secretos Escolares" - "7 Secrets to School Success"

6:45-7:00 pm        Presentation about "Safe Routes to School" - May is our bike and walk to school challenge

7:00-7:15 pm         Presentation on SPFA Spring Fund Raiser

7:15-7:30 pm         Explain about the Shaver Garden Committee Project and Sign-Up to help with our Cinco de Mayo Celebration
