Hello and Welcome to a new year at Shaver! Our Back to School night the last week of August was a success with many families in attendance. Everyone was able to take a sneak peek at who their teachers were and see their classrooms. We had community information tables and free dinner for everyone.

We have new faces at Shaver this year including Mr. Hyder, our Principal and Mr. Nakashima, our new fifth grade teacher. Mr. Robinson is now teaching at Russell Academy and Mrs. Hawkins is teaching at Davis Elementary in the Reynolds School District. We will miss them and wish them the very best.

Pictures are coming up shortly. This is a “free dress” event. Children do not wear uniforms for fall pictures.

Conferences will be at the end of October. Please always check your child’s backpack for updates on what is happening here at Shaver.
